    Tubeless tire repair kit.(safety seal or =)

    Bail Money for speeding ticket.

    The most important thing- your phone number, so your son can phone you at every rest stop to tell you what a great mom you are and how much he loves you.

    I don;t think it is lame at all. This Christmas my daughter put together a car tool kit for her brother, who was inheriting a new clunker himself. Most of the tools actually belonged to him in the first place, but she rummaged around the garage, and put them together. Then she supplemented with a lot of the things listed. When he opened it, he laughed about the parts of the present that were really his in the first place, but it has come in handy!

    Oh, and don;t forget a car deodorizer thing ..... like the trees, but pick a funny one.

    And DEFINITELY AAA, you can add him to an existing one if you or his dad have one.
