Need Help - so far, DRs are all stumped or arguing!

Hello everyone. I am new here - as my mother found a post and suggested I try to seek some answers as well.

I am Holli - a 27 yo single mother of a 4 year old. I am tall and slender/athletic. I was in a car wreck 8 years ago, but most agree that is not related (though one eastern med dr thought my wreck AND a skull fracture when I was 12 could be related??)

I will try to keep this as brief as possible and lay out my symptoms and who all I have seen so far....

On March 4th 2008 I reached backwards and sideways for a remote control, felt a small "tweak" in my back (at the bra line). 3 Days later I woke up and could not take a deep breath without shooting pains around my rib cage. I saw my chiro (who is AMAZING) and he adjusted for a rib, unfortunately 4 days later I woke up unable to take normal sized breathes, another adjustment to no avail. That began my trip down the rabbit hole......

Had an MRI - it's clean (although the radiologist reported a herniated disc in the thoracic and bulging disc in lower lumbar).

I have had the following tests:
    - MRI (thoracic and lumbar)
    - CT Scan of lungs (to rule out PE)
    - Sonogram of gall bladder (Negative)
    - Trigger Point Injections (X2)
    - Radio-Frequency Procedure on 4 joints around T10 (Following 2 diagnostic procedures in the same area)
    - 4 rounds of steroids (did not help)
    - CT Scan of neck (for large lymph nodes)
    - Biopsy w/ full removal of lymph node on the left side of my neck) - so far, all tests are negative
    - blood work to rule out viral infections, Luekemia, etc.
    - CT Scan of abdomen and uterus/ovaries (negative for tumors)

I have seen the following specialists:

    - 1 Chiropractor
    - 1 Family Physician
    - 2 physiologists
    - 3 Neurosurgeons
    - 3 Pain Management Doctors
    - 1 ENT
    - 1 Spine doctor
    - 2 physical therapists
    - 1 acupuncturist
    - 1 neuromuscular therapist
    - 1 trip to ER

Here are my symptoms in the order they appeared:

    - Thoracic back pain - primarily left side
    - shooting pain around left side of rib cage when breathing
    - shooting pain to left shoulder blade
    - nightsweats
    - difficulty urinating
    - restless sleep (due to pain)
    - tremor in my left leg (comes and goes throughout the day, only happens when I am laying and lift my L leg, or and walking)
    - Limbs falling asleep so painfully numb that I wake from sleep and takes 2x as long as normal to "wake them up"
    - tingling sensations in right hand
    - numb feelings in both thighs when laying down

Most of the doctors have agreed there are nerve issues going on, but also neurological. Waiting for a neurology consult now.

Is there anything that could bring all these symptoms together under on diagnosis? So far I have been told: Facet Joint Syndrome, Rib subluxation syndrome (floating/dislocating rib), and other misdiagnosis (like nerve viruses and "in my head").

I am currently on a pain patch as well as oral norco pills, xanaflex 4mg capsules, cymbalta. I missed 3 months of work, though i am now trying to work from home. ANY IDEAS APPRECIATED! Feel free to ask questions too - I am sure I have forgotten something!

I think you need to wait for the neuro consult to get any answers. Sorry.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
