Being Happy

A lot of the things posted here are when I am happiest as well ..... family, friends, being outside on a nice day.

But another thing (that I fully admit isn;t always possible) is to just suck it up, and PRETEND everything is ok, and sometimes it happens.

The other day I was getting into the car, and it was all in all a pretty crappy day. I smashed my hand trying to put my chair in the car, (not seriously, just enough to hurt) and that was just the last straw. Well I guess I was taking too long to get in my car, and an older woman who lives across the street noticed, and came over to see if I was ok. There wasn;t anything she could do to help, and I didn;t want her to fret so I just smiled, and chatted with her for a few minutes, and then went on my way. I was driving a few minutes later, and realized that my mood had lifted a lot!

Kind gestures are the currency of goodness in the world. I've experienced the same kindness from people from all walks of life, strangers or to me known, and tend to pass them along to the next person It's all good

I forgot I'm not in my 20s any longer. Don't know where the last 20 years went, but that's my niece's baby, which makes the lil one not my niece, but maybe grand niece?? I don't know what I am, but I know I am something

A great uncle. That is what you will be. Buy the baby something yellow to wear. Babies poop yellow and it will make everyone's life easier.

What a beautiful infant! You are lucky. Ida been a good aunt, never got the opportunity though, due to brothers that didn't need to reproduce. Enjoy her!

When I had Jake, my Uncle Jim bought me a backpack papoose carrier. We lived out in the country, had 50 acres, 5 horses etc. to tend to. That baby hauler was well-used!
