Question? I have an Inavcare Torque 3 for Formula CG Powered Seating with tilt/recline. It will be six years old this May. Last week the sales person came to talk to me about a new Roho cushion I asked for. Well the new Roho turned into getting a new chair. This chair has gotten very little use in 6 years due to where I live. His reason was parts will no longer be manufactered for this chair. Am I being suckered. If it's not broke don't fix it.

Would you happen to know if the newer model is out yet.
And does Invacare apply the modifications you improve on their chairs.

Really looking forward to 2nd generation TDXsp. Supposed to be launched in January. (I'll be looking for it in February...)

Really interesting. I really do not understand why brushless motors due to reliability problems aren't available in Europe anymore but in good old USA they work like a charm.

Typically, an active user will wear out their controller and motors every 3 years. I personally like to replace motors with new and rebuild the controller.
For people that drive less then a mile a day, motors and controllers can last 5+ years.

Interesting. And everything works okay? No typical problems? This DX-GB module is being changed once per year if you're lucky always out of warranty.

We us Dynamic.

OK. But in the USA you're using modules from Dynamic Controls or somebody else?

Not bothering me, wish I could help. In the good old USA, I just send them in to be rebuilt. About $200us. I have never opened one up and worked on one. Sorry,

Hey Jake, hopefuly I'm not bothering you.

The thing is. I got my faulty controler aka power module back. It's DX-GB-AS model. Importer/workshop user support in Slovenia is pretty rigid and doesn't want help in any way. They can just provide brand new parts.

So, here are the pictures of the faulty unit. Would you be a man of gold and try to help me indentify faulty part? I know couple of professional electronics guys who could fix it for me, but do not know what to fix it. Because I lose just a drive. Lighting and lift still works so my wild guess would be that the motherboard cannot be dead.

Any help would be really appreciated.
