I was glad to read your post about Greenfield filter, I know it saved my life I still have 1 more month on blood thinners taking 8mg on day and 7mg the next. Love your posts.
I guess since I've been on Cranacatin for the last three years, about three times a day, I have never experienced a bladder infection due to an E. coli bacteria. Just from what I have read, I know it is a nasty bug once you get it, but keeping your pH level high in your urine through cranberry usually wards this off. I can only express my own personal observations.
I also think what the urologist meant is because I have not experienced an E. coli infection that I have a broad range of antibiotics to use for treatment as opposed to the last couple of bacteria which are very resistant to most of the ones I have taken.
Hi Lawdog, I'm a computer dummy - and haven't the foggiest idea what being a friend in this case means.
BTW your Doc who said E-coli was easy to get rid of....yeah sure. Hubby had 3 other more exotic bugs that he git rid of with abx. But the E-coli is nasty and mean and fights back unbelievable strong and persistent!
