hey lurch, i got in contact with the paravilla, and they were able to find room for me for the next 6-12 months until i get back on my feet. Mackay is pretty good except for the crazy prices for units and houses here, i don't think i will be staying here long term. I am still thinking about brissy with the gym there and wheelchair rugby i think it will be good for me to build my strength up and improve my pushing and transfering. I was just wondering if you can give me a few pointers on where in brissy is a good area to look at, i have only been to brissy once and that was mostly in the pa. I remember the trains use to be real good there to get around, but some of the paths use to be crap. But if you could point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.
    Thanks Peter

Hey Lurch, yeah i was talking about rocky to mackay. I was seeing at staying at the paravilla next month, but i'm looking at getting a new cushion and chair and i just found a place here where i can trial them. So i'm going to be here for awhile until i can sort that out. How do you like staying at mackay? I see that the rent and house prices there are pretty expensive.

Man, was I surprised to see a thread titled "Leonard Cohen". When he comes back to the United States I'd love to see him perform again. I've been a fan for a long time and have a LOT of his material.

Did he take a brief intermission and come back out alone performing Avalanche? I think it's classy the way he gives his band and singers credit. He introduces them to the crowd often in concerts.

    Thanks for posting.

Hi Lurch! When I play out, my pedal board sits on a small table, near my right hip. I just hit the pedal with a quick swing motion with my arm, taking care not to shake the pick loose. At first we tried setting the pedals up in front of the singer. He had ques to follow. This was a disaster. He either missed his ques, or forgot completely. That's when I decide to bring the board up to arms reach. I've been doing it this way for about 20 years. At home the board sits on the floor, and I use a reacher stick to click on the pedals. That's about it. I highly recommend a pedal board. It keeps all the boxes in line, and power can be turned on/off with one switch.
Thanks for asking. Any other question, feel free to ask.
