    Hi Keeping on,
Sorry, been on the road again. Short of a national ban on embryonic research Maryland will not ban it. It's difficult getting state funding but that is due to the economy not a large opposition to any stem cell research.

    Hey Keeping On,

I assume you got a Letter of Medical Nessecity from your PT/OT/Physiatrist? If the deny it, it could be because of the Glider option because they will probably classify it as excersise equipment. If this is the case, you could ask if insurance would pay for the stander and you could pay for the Glider option out of pocket. Easystand also has a Funding Guide on their website, http://www.easystand.com/funding/index.cfm

    Hope This Helps!

I'm just asking these questions to try to understand what motivates the sci community, that's all.

    Just found a today's announcement: http://www.genengnews.com/news/bnite...hid=4&taxid=34

"It is our hope that this approach will one day lead to a viable treatment option for these afflicted children, and possibly also for patients suffering from other myelination disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis and certain types of cerebral palsy."
