Hi there. We are finally getting Dave's wounds healed on his butt. The last one is just about closed. He has the one on his heel but the wound care doctor said that won't keep him from going to outpatient rehab. They want him to do that first just to get him transferring again and get some mobility first. His case manager from the insurance wants him to go to Kennedy Krieger after wards to see what they can do for him. Can I ask how long it was before Evan got medicare instead of medicaid? From what I understand it is easier to get the things he needs with medicare. My phone number is 410-896-4425 in case you would like to call also. Glad to hear Evan is doing well. HELLO, HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH DAVE. ARE YOU STILL CONSIDERING GETTING TO KENNEDY KRIEGER FOR THERAPY?. EVAN IS ON A HOME PROGRAM b/c HE GOT HIS FES BIKE ON 8-1-09. NOW HE BIKES HIS ARMS AND LEGS AT HOME. HE WILL GO BACK FOR THERAPY AND BE EVALUATED IN OCT. HE CAN GET INTO THE POOL THEN .THEY BUILT A NEW SCI CENTER IT IS AMAZING. THIS POOL HAS A TREADMIL IN THE BOTTOM OF IT SO THEY CAN WALK YOU. THE NEW GYM IS AWESOME. IT IS SOOOOO COOOL. I JUST CAN:T WAIT UNTIL OCT. CALL ME SOMETIME 410-519-7281
