I met a youngster in my neighborhood living in a house on the next block who's paying the same rent I am and just lost a roommate. I still need to talk to the owner/manager and see what kind of deposit she wants (it's the biggest bedroom that's empty); how much my 1/3rd of the utilities works out to; etc.; etc.. But I might have to curtail my laptop purchase if the new rental works out. Decisions, decisions,.....decisions.
