Hi Mary I am new today to this site. My son was injured 11/22 lifting weights and broke C1, C2, and crushed C5, C6 and C7 they are classifiying as a C6, C7. He has limited use of arms but nothing in hands but has feeling. He is currently back in the hosp with pneumonia in both lungs. Diaphram is pretty much shot but working on upper body strength. Dont know what to do or what to expect. i need advise and help with all this. Can you give me any advise for the present time as to what I should be asking and what to push for in PT. Also fighting bedsores on feet and buttocks that should not have happened. I am worried to death about this. thanks for listening

Yeah, fell down my elevator shaft, about 16ft. Broke right femur head in a spiral fracture, pelvisin three places, couple of teeth and a severe concussions. Happened last year about two days before Halloween. Recovery has been tough but despite my best efforts I'm still here. Hope you're well Mary
