Hi Linda,

Sounds like the Sure deploy battery needs to be replaced.

Have someone check the voltage on the Sure deploy battery.

Hi Jim-
I have a question about my 2010 Odyssey with the VMI Northstar conversion. Today, as I was driving, the Sure Deploy system started beeping intermittently. It would stop for a while and then start up again. Do you know what may be causing this? (Of course the place I take it for service is closed for the weekend)

Hi Jim, knowing that the lever won't move is very useful info (not provided in the installation booklet of Veigel). I'd assume it's the same with menox.

The lever does not move when you push the pedals.
It should be able to be partially folded, it's just not going to go between the seats.
Any car you fit into and is going to work for you shouldn't be a loser.
If you and or or your dealer likes the menox over the veigle you should go with the menox.

Hi Jim, thanks much for the info. Don't think the Veigel could be folded in the car i just got (Kia Optima...yes, i know, sounds like a loser, but actually found it optimal for my needs). There is far less than 3" space between the seat and console. Then the Veigel would be no advantage over Menox. What happens anyway when AB drives the car with Veigel (not folded) or Menox. Does the lever moves backward/upward each time the gas or brake is pushed? No way to inactivate the system when not in use? Thanks again. Sorry i can't come from south jersey to MA to see your demo.

We haven't started the car yet.
In the Volvo, I don't think there is enough room between the seat and the center console for it to fold out of the way.

We can install it where ever needed as long as full brake and gas can be done.

The widest point of the push pull control is just over 3" so you would at least that much space between the seats and the center console. The push twist is 4.5"

Hi Jim, following up on your posts about the Veigel system you were to install on a Volvo. How did it go? Any pictures? My concern is about the seat possibly interfering with folding down the lever when not in use (when the car is driven by AB). Is it possible to install the system and have it working with the seat nearly moved up to the max? or is there a limitation with that?
