    David, thanks for such a great and informative site. I found this through googling due to an interest in feedback from others who may have a Spinal Cord Stimulator.
    I am a retired RN, 34+yrs in the operating room and cardiac cath lab. I am also an above-knee amputee from 1967 and have experienced pain for the last 45+yrs.
    This site is very unique to say the least. I wish more doctors would at least read or be aware of the postings of those who have to endure nerve/spinal cord trauma pain. The majority of the doctors see us who suffer as drug-seekers. That's the last thing any of us want! What we are looking for is empathy, understanding and knowledge of what we are going through and a way to live our lives pain free.

    I'm so glad I saw one of your postings, I went to your web site and found information that I've been googling for months for. The article on the acid people I'm going to show to the orthopedic doctor who thinks 1 more surgery will fix everything. My neurologist has been bang on, even though she's never treated a patient with a SCI, my first visit with her she told me I was like her MS patients and no amount of surgery's was going to make me better.

    I would love for others to find your sight too! Well back to your web site for more reading.....I'm from O'fallon, IL had my surgeries there at Barnes.
