  1. Markpals, thank you for your acknowledgement and good wishes. Iwas an RN until a few years ago and worked many different areas of the hospital and in charge. I worked with several ALS patients and found it very rewarding, especially fighting insurance and getting people back to their home when they wanted to. Having read many of your posts, I have a small inkling of the road you have had to hoe, especially having watched your Dad have ALS. I have a strong feeling your lilsis knows how much she means to you. Many people don't realize the love and sense of accomplishment we caregivers get, it means the world to me that Jim wakes up with a cheery hello every dang morning.
    Thanks again, Deb

Hi...I just want to let you know that my "lilsister" is my caregiver, and she will never know how much I adore her. I'm sure your brother feels the same about you. We (my twin bro, Mike) and I have ALS ...Lou Gehrigs disease, and Ann put her life on hold and rescued me from the nursing home I had moved into. I am much more advanced than Mike. He was just dxd a yr ago...Ive had it 6 yrs. Ive outlived my prognosis . lol I know I cant thank Annie enough for what she does to make my life so good...I wish I could thank you too. Blessed are the caregivers... All the best to you and your bro. Mark Sullivan
  3. Nice to see you post again, I have been thinking about you from time to time, wondering how you are! I hope you and Jim are doing okay.
