    Strangely enough the Ti 2 gx is heavier than the Aero X. I have the 2gx and a friend has the Aero X. If I had it to do over, I'd get the Aero.

    I have a set. Have had marathon's too. These are about a year old and I think should last another 6 months. I got 4 or 5 years out of the marathons...

    I don't think there are standard axles. It depends on the wheel you have. They have different bearing spacing.

    IMO weight savings would be virtually nonexistent, and safety would be compromised. I think trying to save weight in fasteners by reducing their diameter or hollowing them out would be unwise.

    Hijacking threads is a way of life here. :-)

    Use Schrader. Does not matter to me. I would recommend against using gas station compressors though.
