Hi Brian I was on the thread about the oversize tires posted today and saw that you had changed a Quikie GPV to offroad just like I am hoping to do. I bought a very lightly used one 6 months ago with both 26" and 24" rims and tires. I have been wondering if there was an advantage to using one size or the other for the offroad chair. I have a freewheel, but like the idea of bigger caster wheels too. Interested in your thoughts on the freewheel vs giant casters and 24 v 26 rears. Are the tires and bigger casters easy to find? Expensive? Thanks, Jim
Hi I"m looking at a freedom hand cycle. Its kind of old, being a 91. I was reading a thread that you were on, and it seems like you may know something about this model. I rode a hand cycle a couple days ago. Was a leanstear witch was fine. Do not mind having the shifters on the frame. Meeting him Tuesday. he claims it in good shape and he wants about 800 for it. Do you think that I should hold out for a newer one. Its very hard to look at cycles out here on the Oregon coast. So most require shipping. Thanks allot for your time
