  1. Service dogs are a lot of work, and they mean that you're bound to a dog (you may want to see your friends without one). On the other hand, the dog gets me into bed when my husband's not around, and I don't know how I'd lift my legs otherwise (I didn't foresee this when I got the dog). Lucia
