  3. I broke my back and shoulder in Nam, incoming mortar. repaired me, a round through my right leg broke my femur. I taught hand to hand and studied martial arts. I did at least okay til 10 years ago when all the repairs went out of warranty :-)

3 vertebrae collapsed and I had 100% compression of th spinal cord for too long. so 9 spinal procedures, 7 knee/femur procedures a nasty shouler rebuild and I struggle. way too much in a short time and such poor recovery and complications.

ambulatory but central pain, cauda equina syndrome, drop foot and marginal feeling on my right al below the waist.

Can't fight, can't hike can't... a lot of things, but the chronic pain has torn my soul out.

sorry the rant, it took over.

I wish you peace, how are you ??

Thank you for your email and I respect your not wanting to do get involved. Believe me, my will and wit are strong enough to hold my own, but your support means a lot.

Some assholes have no sense of humor and are such goddamn hypocrites! Fuck them! I want to be invited to their funerals so I can just laugh the whole time. (Oh no, he didn't! Todd that was awful!) LMAO!

  8. Hi Bill. You don't know me, but you were one of my inspirations to join CareCure.

I saw you've been having such a hard time, and especially lately. If I have the time right, your pump trial should be coming up soon - I just wanted to say good luck, I hope it goes smoothly. And I REALLY hope it brings you relief. You sound as if you have so many talents and interests, a loving wife - so much to live for. If only.... Hang in there - and I hope so much to hear good news from you soon.

Hope they find something to stop the decline and pain for you. I am going Tuesday for a refusion due to broken hardware and failed fusion at L1. Currently fused posterior T8 to L3. They will replace posterior hardware and refuse and then go in through left side and fuse T10 to L3 on front with a rod also. I have issues below that at L5-S1 and L1-L2. My question is how much flexibility do you have with your spine fused that low to do things like transfers and bowel program. I am concerned that if I have to fuse eventually down that low I may lose the ability to do those things. They are key to my independence. I live alone and I am 52 years old.

Bill, thanks so much for the compliments . I love singing Lieder !!!! I am planning on getting my doctorate, hopefully . I really had to fight to get into the program though. They didn't want to accept me since I would not be able to accept leading roles in operas, blah blah blah. I said, I don't care if I get leading roles or not, I just want to sing. It doesn't matter how old you are. Music is in your soul and that is ageless .

  22. I did, I listened, beautiful! Thank you. Your voice is a beautiful gift.

I sang Lieder and Chasson had a beautiful voice for a small hall. I ruptured a vocal chord singing rock and ruined my voice. It never came back. I have 2 daughters who majored in music, one is getting her doctorate in Kodaly was brass. My other daughter was voice. She heard a tape of me I ruined my voice before she was able to really listen or remember. She was surprised as now I've a gruff rasp instead of a really nice 2nd tenor. Such is life I guess, but I still miss singing and I'm 56.
