Ah, I see you are Portogese, one of the few countries I have never been to, but I believe the accessiblity there is more bad than Spain. I think that if you keep away from the East European counties, you want find it any less accessible if you travel. Maybe if you go Scandinavia. The cities are old, I am living in the middle of Oslo and in the old part, very nice place but not very accessible, most of the buildings are between 120-150 years old here.

That is ok I was thinking maybe you was in Germany since your nick is herrlich. Norway is not in EU and I think the northern countries are less accessible than the south, I believe Germany is more accessible than Norway and Spain is better than Germany. I don't know what to do with the lack of accessibility, the SCI organization in Norway is not very busy with accessibility. The law is here, everything should be accessible but nobody care and if we complain the people think we are whining. I think the wheelchair users in Europe is very limited and I am jelouse of the Americans for the accessiblity all over and can't understand some of their complains.

Norway is the most rich country in Europe because of the oil and they still don't have money to make things like tram and buses accessible or clean the streets for snow in the winter.

I would never have done it alone, but I have been driving from the south of Spain, through Andorra and over the mountains to France twice. It is more accessible in south of Europe than in the north. I don't know where you are coming from, for me Bethlehem is a town in Israel but for all I know it can be a place in US too. I have found out it is always a solution for things, I have been driving from Bangkok to the south of Thailand too and we did find hotelrooms and accessible restaurant.

But it is for sure not like the USA, I hope you can take curbs and maybe a step or two down and I would have taken a ramp with me, I have always one in the car. As a para and not alone, I would jump into most things.

    Hey Herrlich,

The research, can feel at times, like pulling teeth. Nonetheless, I'm still learning a lot and although the task is large, it's by no means impossible.

For the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be a little quiet.
I've released my seat design to a mold maker and I have to work with them closely to insure we have first time success. In addition my Hinge hardware is custom so I have to identify a manufacturer for casting and machining the parts I need. After the fabrication activities are well started, I'll be back to spending more time with the ultimate users of the product. As I've said before, I'll be looking for test pilots in the Feb timeframe. If you interested in taking one of the early seats for a test drive, I'll send one your way.

    best regards,
    Stephen
