Thank you for your service Semper Fi.
Hand cyclist- I am looking for suggestions on how to get from your chair to the cycle. Then how to get from the cycle back to the chair. Any suggestions or ideas would be a big help. I do not like to be dependent on others.
I am a t-4 complete no feeling or movement from the chest down. My chair is a I-bot.
OK, so I'm all caught up now, thanks for the info! I'm still fighting it, but with your success, I'm re-thinking. Need to find a very competent surgeon.

I recently had a nerve transposition on the right elbow. The nerve was moved from the elbow side of the arm to being embedded in the muscle on the upper side of the arm. I was in constant pain from the elbow down the forearm to the side of the hand. I fought the surgery for a year. I did not want to give up the use of the arm for 6 weeks. I finally gave in. What a relief. It really worked.
It was a pain not being able to transfer and do the restroom procedures by myself. However I would recommend it.
