Hi Kate, I will be sending same message to Obione.
Can you please do your part in allowinbg 2Mur2 into the private caregiver forum. Our marriage is on shaky ground right now, he needs support from others that are in a similar situation. I am hoping and praying this private forum will help him,he is very confused wants to stay with me in our marriage but at the same time doesn't know if he can handle or deal with the disabilty issues and barriers. He has moved out and is trying to decide where to go from here. He wants to take this time away to see if he can committ to our marriage and situation for the rest of his life.
I'm ncertain if I am now a group member. Will I be notified that I am? Thank you

do you know if anyone from The Miami project will be at w2w?
I would like to find out if there is a medical device like the anti-gravity treadmill for regaining balance and to exercise on a treadmill or equivalent per findings of treadmill exercise and the brain. I am a caregiver for one TBI family member and another who has had two strokes. I am trying to join this group as want to leave no stone unturned per TBI rehabilitation. I live in a city that does not have a rehabilitation hospital.
Hi! I was directed to you by one of the members. I would like to become a member of the private caregivers community, I believe. I hope that is right! Please let me know what I need to do.
What am I doing wrong that I cannot access the Caregiver Group? I think I have made application. I checked the box, "Join Group" and posted a reason for applying.
My husband is a T3 para. How do I join the caregiver group or is there another private place for us? Thanks
hi kate. I am in florida and have never attended a working to walk, I have asked my Mom to go to the one in Phoenix, and she said yes.
Whats it like? I mean, is it at a hotel, or what?
Because if it's a conference held at a hotel, she wants to book "that" hotel
Hi Kate,I am a private PCA and I would like to join in.How do I join the caregiver group?
Hi Kate, John Martinson here and I hope you had a safe trip home! It was a pleasure meeting you at the W2W and I bought your book and I'm excited to read it. It was a big positive impact in my life being able to go to the day at the races with Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation and the Working To Walk Chicago. I met so many inspirational people like yourself, Sam Schmidt, Ida Cahill, Bruce, Susan, Dr. Young, Dr. McDonald (Hollywood) Kay, Cindy, Dr. Stephen & Jeannette Davies, Marilyn & John Smith, Joe, Larry & Kathy, Deborah, Ron, Justin, Donna & Matt, Pete, Martin, Anne and so many more, I just want to say THANK YOU!!
Kate...just wondering if you ever got my last message. Sometimes I am not very computer literate! If not, I can send it again. Shelly
Kate, I just wanted to say that I just finished your book and it was wonderful. My son is a T5 incomplete. He was rear ended by a drunk driver in Jan.05. He has made incredible progress and is independent in everything. When I read your book it took me back to so many of the sights and sounds of that time period in our life. I hope that Bruce and the girls are doing well. Thanks again. Shelly
hi Kate, I'm not sure if you are a nurse or if you can answer this but I thought I would try anyway.
My husband Scott, is a C6 quad and has the symptoms of a dvt in his right leg. We plan on seeing a doctor tomorrow who can ultrasound it but until then do you think he should stay in bed to avoid breaking up the clot and it moving to his heart or head?
Thanks for any help you can give us
