I have three OSes on my system (eComStation, XP, and Ubuntu Linux.) I just wish I knew how to use them. I can get around eCS somewhat, as I've used OS/2 for years, but I only know basics. I don't know Windows and Linux, and I'm trying to learn, but years of pain have affected my concentration and memory, and the back pains and scapula issues limit my typing, so I'm having real trouble
getting anywhere. It's sad - I'm trying, but it's like rolling in deep mud - push hard, but get nowhere. :(

There are two ways of having 2 or more operating systems running on your machine.
It’s very important what are you plan to do with them in order to chose the best solution.

1) You can run just one OS at a time, using a multi-boot manager (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi_boot) . A boot manager is a software which loads from MBR ( 'beginning of the disk' ) and help you to choice what OS wish to run exclusively.
2) You can run two OS in same time, but for that you need a ‘virtual machine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_machine software)’ . This allow you to run another OS as any software in a window of the first OS without restarting the machine. Using this method you have to share RAM memory also.
