Does anybody else find certain problems using Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9 and Firefox together? I find that it doesn't work on some forums occasionally. For instance I have had to write this message and dragon pad and then cut and paste it on here.the silly thing is, now I have cut and pasted, it is now working okay when I correct the mistakes and add this sentence. Also find that if I try and select s it won't always highlight them.

You are not alone. Nuance touted that DNS 9.0 works with Firefox but it never really lived up to the hype.

I personally haven't used Firefox, but if y'all want to search a forum that is largely devoted to voice operated computing with NaturallySpeaking, checkout the support forums at KnowBrainer.com. KnowBrainer is an add-on command package for Dragon, and the users on that website seem to be particularly knowledgeable with regard to Dragon (and KnowBrainer's) operation and ways to troubleshoot:

Instead of using DragonPad to paste text from I like to use dictation box. It's much smaller and saves a step by just saying "transfer" when you're done.

FWIW, the website I linked above (KnowBrainer.com) the creator of KnowBrainer (Lunis Orcutt) just told me that KnowBrainer 2007 "fully supports Firefox (and IE 7)." KnowBrainer is an add-on command package to Dragon NaturallySpeaking (for Preferred and higher versions). It also is supposed to have "a number of bug fixes for DNS 9.5."

I will become a KnowBrainer & NaturallySpeaking user starting tomorrow, but since I'm starting with them together, I won't be able to assess the differences. Just sharing info that you may wish to investigate. :D
