I want to first mention that I have been diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia, which is the culprit for making my head and face hurt so bad. I also had a brain MRI and it shows subcortical and periventricular lesions. I've also developed (actually these started in mid Sept) muscle twitches in the neck, shoulder and on down, ONLY the left side, to the hip. Kinda like shudders in the hips, but definately muscle spasms.
So to my question, last night was the second time I have had the following happen, both situations were pretty much the same. The hubby and I were setting out to make crepes last night for dinner around 9 pm. I had eaten a salad lunch at 2:30 pm, and really hadn't eaten much except a cookie by evening. So while waiting for the crepes to be done, I started getting mild deep, cramping core pain and getting lightheaded, weak a mild ill feeling.
(I have in the past suffered from hypoglycemia when busy in the garden and forgetting to eat until I start getting shakey and lightheaded)
So with knowing that I am hungry because of the lack of food intake, I get a couple of crackers into me. Within a few minutes the pain and muscle cramping start going away, along with the lightheaded feeling.
So how is Hypoglycemia making me have this onset of pain?
