I would like to know the answer to that question also Metron. My Dr. was Very adament of me NOT to use the generic patch. She said they were dangerous. I had to try it and see how it worked or not so insurance would pay for the name brand, but when I did I woke up the next morning broke out all over my back and my arms and that was all of the generic for me, but I still wonder if that's part of the reason she didn't want me on them.
