where is the pain , what type of pain? what caused your injury? is it possible they missed something when they fixed you, such as a another injury lower on your body?

My pain is below my injury level, but mostly my butt & legs in the back, not so much in front. Feels like a potatoe pealer when someone messages my legs. I think it is nerve pain.
I was in a snowmolile accident on Dec. 30th '05. This is the only injury I sustained. As far as another injury, lower, there is none. according to the Doc's.
As far as fixing anyone with a SCI, that's like putting a ban-aide on a mail artery.( sarcasim is not directed at you).

Whatever it takes to help with pain is OK. If you want a second opinion, talk with a Physiatrist or a pain specialist. Most likely an Anesthesiologist is the pain specialist.

It sounds like neuropathy, that you may have. Ask about neurontin.

Good Luck.

lol milner, yeah n one os fixed, but i was trying to say if they missed a severe disc herniation in your lumbar area,
it is going to cause problems no matter how much pain meds you get
probably need a psychiatrist first and then a pain management ,
lyrica works for some.
oh yea cauda equina is ny injury , it is real low, actually below the official end of the spinal cord at T2 L1.
it different from the higher injury levels the muscles become denerved , electrical stim doesn't work.
fortunately i only have one leg affected

cauda equina means the horses tail of the spinal cord
