Neuragen: Has anyone tried this for pain?

My mom found this ad in one of her magazines.

It says it deals with pain resulting from:
damage to the nerves from accidents or surgery
major amputations

I was asked to participate in a survey about neuropain and had never heard of this medication until the survey. I researched it afterwards and am curious to know what and if it works. I am in Canada and have not found this medication to be available in the local stores. They say you don't need a prescription and can buy it over the counter. Not sure what the price would be but for me and many other on this site, the few dollars it may cost would be worth it's weight in gold if it does truly work. As I understand it it is made from plant and flower extracts so unless you have allergys to those types of items, there is virtually no side effects. Not like the Lyrica, such that we are taking now. If someone is using it or knows where to buy it please chime in. Not that I believe in snake oil salemen but for a couple of buck I will give it a shot.
