I find when my pain levels are up so is my tone (spasticity). Or is it that when my tone is high, my pain goes up? Does any one have any ideas which is the cause and which is the effect? pain >>>>> spasticity or spasticity >>>>> pain?

Ya know, I've never thought about that, but I'd have to say that when my pain is up, so are my spasms. Late evening/night is when my spasm go crazy, and that's when my pain is strongest. Sometimes when my back is hurting badly, I'll scoot forward in my chair and recline back...... My leg then fully extends and shakes. Quite fun to do around my fraternity brothers :D

You're right, pain and spasms seem to go hand in hand. Must'nt forget the burning, too! They all seem to "hang out" together.
