Hello everyone,
I know that this is a new injury thread, but i really wanted to share my experience with new injuries because i know when i was first injured i was looking for as much information as i could find. i was injured on 4/27/06 and it has been a long road of information gathering. I recently attened a rehabilitaion program at sci-fit in northern california. There direct site is http://www.sci-fit.org/. I always wanted to attend a place liek this but was always hesitant. Well, i finally got over the hump and started going. The center is really great becasue unlike traditional therapy they make you work your whole body. They have been working with me to improve my strengths as well as my weaknesses. The staff is funny and caring. Before i started this program i was doing traditional exercises and therapy, but i have to say this place has given me new insight and improvments even a year and a half later. :) If you are a new spinal cord injury and are looking for more information and new things to try like i was keep checking this site. there are always new posts with great information and friendly support here. have a great day.
