I may have mentioned this before but if I take my Movicol every day (either 1 sachet or 2), I can take as many strong opiates as I like.

Any comments from SCI-Nurse on whether or not long term use of Movicol has the same side effects as prune juice / senekot?

movicol looks like miralax, is it the same ?

Miralax is polyethylene glycol; I saw one internet reference (http://www.medhelp.org/forums/gastro/messages/36994.html)that said movical is the same. Maybe that's the name it's sold under in the UK?
