i have been sent the long form for a cdr
my main concern now is that i have not seen a Dr in many years (mainly because i tried many meds and gave up them due to effectiveness decline and side effects)
i don't even know if i should mention this unless i am asked or if i should nip it in the bud ahead of time
what problems or issues might i face not seeing a Dr since about 2001 or 2 for mood disorder
should i be worried or concerned about loosing
benefits because of this
all info help and input is appreciated
also any remarks info suggestions or experiences regarding this is requested
especially success and failures with the cdr and why?
please forgive spelling grammar and format
and then later:
update
i called ssi in new york city where they handle my case many stories to tell
but in the end i talked with a manager after one worker was so nasty to me, didn't handle my questions, threatened to cut my benefits in 4 days, and then hung up on me
the manager was more helpful but he was pressuring me to finalize my long form by end of Sept due to the FISCAL year ending
please note i only got one notice by mail with the long form, so far, dated Aug 30
seems like a discrepancy between what they want and my rights
if it was a second notice or third would it say so on it, right?
now i want to cooperate fully with SS, i know that's important
but i feel much of the info they give me is not
consistent with what i read on line,
like that i get 2 or 3 notices before they cut me off, unless that has changed
i also want to be able to assert my rights,
have as much time as i need to see a doctor, get legal advice, get all my records, plus i will turn 50 in Nov which could effect the decision
however SS was not concerned with any of this
i agreed to call next Monday for a phone interview,
but i think i gave in too easily, and this may not be in my best interests, not sure
i didn't see a Dr since my last review many years ago
very stressful
now some more concerns are what they will ask in the initial cdr interview and how can i best be prepared?
how can i delay everything for as long as possible so i can prepare and take care of all of my concerns mentioned above
thanks in advance
