I have to have a flexible cystoscopy to check my bladder next week.
What are the details regarding this procedure?
Should I have any problems with dysreflexia?
Ive never had one of these so Im naturally worried to death. Im having some issues with my foley so the dr at Shepherds prescribed this test.

This is usually done under local and you cn usually eat a light breakfast
but Shepherd should give you specific instructions.
Are you prone to AD? Just make sure they know the symptoms and to monitor you closely. Also make sure your bowel and bladder are flowing OK.

Thanks for the link. I am very prone to AD but only during the changing of my foley. Im nervouse about the part of the proceudre where they fill my bladder. Since Ive never had this test before how do they know how much my bladder will hold? How long will they wait to put the foley back in after the procedure? I cant go miore than about 15 minutes between changes with AD.

Simplistically, they observe to see at what urine volume you start leaking to know how much your bladder will hold. Discuss your concerns with the doctor or the person doing the testing.
