3 & 4 Year Anniverserys

Today is my third anniversary of becoming SCI'D and tomorrow is Matt & I's fourth wedding anniversary. Yeah I rolled my mom's farm pickup on the day before my husband and I's first wedding anniversary. I wish I knew why so many of our injury's are closely linked to important days in our lives. Days that are suppose to be happy, but get over shadowed by the gloom and despair of our injuries.

I better go to sleep before my typing and thought process goes completely to the dogs.

I could not resist the Top Gun quote. I'll be your Wing Man anytime but your husband is your pilot. I always get the blahs around my anniversary date. Six years post t12. Block out that date and enjoy your other important date. I lived in Olathe Ks for four years and it is a great state. Let me know if you ever need a visit from someone rolling.

Hopefully, you'll get to the point where your gloomy days get overshadowed by your happy ones...
I was injurerd on Israel's Independence Day and so far (two yrs) have let the gloom and despair wash over w/out a second thought on anniversary days. That doesn't mean tjough that it doesn't hit me multiple times during the rest of the year.
