Can you somehow add meta tags to an affiliate website if that website doesn't have meta tags on the Page Source? I don't know much about Internet marketing.

not unless you have full permission/access to edit the site's files.

what's this have to do with international marketing?

sorry, it should be Internet marketing. Sometimes my word scanner plays with me. I'll edit that. Thanks

no problem.

what's it have to do w/ Internet marketing? search engine optimization?

regardless, if you don't have read/write access, you're out of luck. talk about things going crazy if someone could edit any site they wanted.

Trying to read between the lines here.

If you are joining as an affiliate that sells one or two products (or a catalog full) AND they provide the web page. You likely have no control over meta data. Template and colors used is usually the limit. In this case you can't do much of anything with SEO except buy advertising of which I question the value.

However, if you are building your own site with content and happen to advertise for some other company. You can then add your affilate ads where appropiate and the search engines will not ding you for that.
