Cant get an avatar

Upon trying to change my avatar I keep getting unable to save avatar. I dont know what I am doing wrong. I go to "my pictures" to get my photo from there, its a picture I have used before so what am I doing wrong to where it wont let me upload it for my avatar.

Make sure it fits the size restrictions, ie file size and/or picture size.

Might be the same picture, but not the same file.

I tried to change mine yesterday and today with no luck. I thought it was just me.
