Did you do all the manual labor before or did you have employees? Can you hire employees to do the manual labor and you do the business end? This would include marketing, writing estimates, bidding on contracts, negotiating with subcontractors or contractors, ordering and stocking equipment and supplies, supervising the employees and office staff (if any), etc. I know a number of people who worked in construction trades who were able to make a transition like this. You know the business already, so hiring competent workers should not be that difficult.

You might want to consider specializing in doing the plumbing part of bathroom modifications for those who use wheelchairs. ADA type toilets, accessible sinks and roll-in showers require a knowledgeable plumbing contractor.
