Hi, Has anyone been to the long term care center for SCI at John Hopkins in Baltimore? Were you satisfied with the docs knowledge about SCI? Were they able to give insight into long term care? Any solutions for treatment of chronic pain? I have an appt to see Dr Long at JHU in August. I know to obviously take all records etc., was wondering if any one had any other advice....... Thanks

Long term at Kennedy Kreiger or Kernan's? And make sure you have copies made of all record and films before handing the originals over to support staff at JHU Hospital...

Thanks. It is not kennedy krieger or kernan's it is the spine center at JHU

Long term care = nursing home. You are unlikely to find any staff in one that know anything about SCI, or care to learn. Why are you looking at nursing homes?
