i can't find info on it.

Download and install the driver for NVIDIA nForce Audio Processing Unit (MCP04)

This problem was caused by NVIDIA nForce Audio Processing Unit (MCP04). NVIDIA nForce Audio Processing Unit (MCP04) was created by NVIDIA Corporation - Integrated.

Must be something related to a premature Vista install.
