It says I'm at East Jefferson Avenue near Rivard Street in Detroit Michigan.
Good, can I get health care in Michigan then? heh ... close enough I guess.

It shows me living on train tracks. I don't even know there the trains are from here other than the Choo Choo. :p
I did use the scroll function and found where I actually live as well as landmarks and friends' houses, even the cabin. Saw a friend's car parked in her drive. Kinda kewl if you know your landmarks. Also, kinda weird.
Big Brother really can watch a whole lot.
Don't worry, Betsy. Santa found you before satellite maps. He'll find you now. :)

Just a thought, the location on this map is where your IP service provider is located. Not actually where your IP address traces to.

no, MINE showed 1/2 a block away!........ Which makes me think Node.
I'm scratching my head on this one. Did a few tracert's and it is seeing the right ip blocks, but the wrong address being used. Also, I'm on a redback in Elmhurst IL (unless they moved it), and it is picking a suburb a few towns over (using the wrong IP). Switching to the actual IP, it moves to the next town north of the one that had the wrong IP, but still the wrong physical location of that device. Whois shows the listed owner's address of that IP block in Plano TX (which is correct), so it isnt using that information to figure where you are. I'm thinking this is using some sort of grid to map IP's. Doesnt help much that my link to the internet is via a dslam connected to the redback via your standard telco carrier system to where that router is actually located. Come find me...I'm hiding! :p

Well, it maybe needs a little fine tuning. It shows me in the middle of a plowed field, several miles from my ISP's location (and quite a few more from my house).

Apparently this morning I'm computing from the cemetary. I hope I haven't broken some sort of local ordinance.

Most of you sound downright disappointed that it didn't directly target your house. Now there's a scary thought.
