New Approach to Funding for Pain

I have received yet more information on funding shortage for pain and will address this more accurately at a later time. My communications come from various PhD's associated with pain research and I am finding no one who thinks they have anywhere near the amount of money necessary to answer basic questions. It is pretty much up to other nations and the drug companies, as it would appear to me now. I believe letters to elected representatives is higher yield than writing to Zerhouni. My reply letter sounded like the author felt compelled to say "all is well". I take this as a bad sign for relations between scientists and administrators.
