Hi Liz!
I think it is a good price (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/6944001/wo/5K6zBLuaus7d3fZpwyBqY5lbyZX/1.?p=0) for the Mac mini. I would recommend getting 1 GB of RAM. If you want to run Windows in Parallels, then you need to consider 2 GB of RAM. Your price just went up.

Hi PN
AS Suspected< A FEW MONTHS AGO THE apple Salesmen at Microcenter store told me that before the new OS Leopard came out that some Apples may go on sale to make room for the faster bigger new systems that will optimize Leopard.
Yea I want to wait. There is third party memory that works instead of buying Apple memory which is more expensive fyi. I like the MacBooks too.
Descisions Descisions!:)
edited to add: you would be suprised at the performance of Apple systems with even 512 of RAM. Theres just no comparison to Windows.
Hi Liz!
I believe the performance maybe pretty snappy with 512 MB of RAM. That Mac mini is one tight box and I believe you need to open it with a putty knife. Take a look at transinternational (http://transintl.com/) for purchasing memory.
Good luck!
