I'm running Windows XP.
Every time I come up to sites like "My Space" or sties that run on Active X I always get this stupid pop-up screen saying "click to run ActiveX control on this webpage"
How the hell do I get rid of this?
Could someone maybe please tell me where I could turn this on or off??

Thank you..;)

Add it to your "Trusted Zones" in the Internet Contol Panel.

However, THIS IS VERY BAD on pages like myspace, or other community type sites, as it will allow people to run scripts without you knowing.

Maybe you should consider using Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) because it is safer than Internet Explorer. ActiveX along with active scripting can be a security risk on some websites.

The Pop-ups on MySpace are generaly for media players, when people add music or video to their page, If you don't care to listen to thier music or watch their videos just ignore them ... I've never been asked for ActiveX at MySpace.

I agree with PN , and recomend using Firefox Browser.
