At Geron Corp. CC last week the CEO was talking about his companies "cure" for cancer.
Seems like quite a bold statment ...no???

This CEO is recently making many bold statements. I pray that they turn out to be fruitful for the sake of those suffering from cancer, paralysis and parkinsons. I also pray as an investor in this company that they turn out fruitful as well!

Their stock was worth over $9.00 before Christmas, what the
hell happened?
It was worth $71.00 at one time. I suspect it will hit that mark again
sometime soon.

Tell me about it! I think the stock fell because of some initial investors being let down by their postponement of clinical trials. At some point you gotta stake your claim, and I felt comfortable with this company because they are setting some high goals for themselves. Regarding where they end up, they are taking a good approach, which is aim as high as you can and nine times out of ten you'll end up ahead of the pack, so I am hoping for good things from them towards the end of this year/beginning of next.

I own it and bought it 3 differnt times in the past below $7.00. It went down because they lose money every quarter, and presently only have intellecual property to sell.They also did an additional public offering to raise 40 million for clinical trials.I think it is a real good buy.Don't forget Merck invested about 18 months ago at well over the present price. The dream of a drug company is to make a pill from stem cells. If all members on here just bought 1 share, imagine their annual meeting and the demands we could make .
That would be so cool !!!!!
Hey. Just a thought. If people with SCI believe in Geron, then why not give the money directly to them without getting taxed for earnings in the stock marked? Do not believe enough? Maybe? Thus biomed invest in this field is pretty low from laymen and investors.
Have to add, a PT I know bougth himself up on ACT stocks some time ago, no suggestions from me. Guess it is long term, to get profitt? Then again, PT is long term.

GERON cancer vaccine trial results are due( some say in mid june 07).
This company has 200 million in cash!! I think it is crazy that it is only trading around $7.00 per share.
This is the leader in stem cell tech. and will soon have a human trial for people with spinal cord injury's (late 2007??)
I am not a stock hypester, I just think the public should know more about GERON CORP.!!!

Seems like the founder, bouth trying to overcome death, Mr. West is very determined although diff to other company’s. As for Geron, show or go away, right? Stock balance could drop, cancer yes (+), doubt it is a cure though=? Per papers, put pressure on them to produce, I would say, to see what they are good for?

HahA!, my viking friend, you give human nature too much credit. If all goes well, we should be closer to getting cured and when we do, we'll have a little cash stowed away to blow in Las Vegas on fast food and fast women!

Okay then, I go by your suggestions here, the Las Vegas ideas did it :) , have not been there to check out the fast women you see.
