Some of the videos that I download from a Peer2Peer program open and then my browser comes open with some advertisement. Is there any way of stopping this opening of the browser? And yes, they are porno videos. HaHaHa

You may already know this but I'll say it anyways. Downloading on P2P is a good way to pick up viruses and spyware. What's the file extention on those porno files? If it ends with .exe, I think that's bad.

No, they uually are mpg, but they have a url embeded that pops open the site that made the video.

some people are bad using those viruses.2 month ago i had to ask my older brother to help me to make my computer to work again.i am afraid to download music or videos.

The only good thing about spam and spyware is that it is more profitable to write spyware than virus's.
And spyware doesn't messup your system... unless improperly removed.

They were smaller than 3MB. I deleted most of them. I'll look in much share folder and I might find one. Windows Media Player 10

LOL!!!!!! that was such a porn0 file...some advice i've gained threw puberity and the internets.
If you want to download porn on p2p, make sure the download is greater htan 6-7 megs, If its 10 megs and greater usually it will be the real deal. Also if u downloda somthing that is < 1 meg, you probably got urself a nice virus.

I was downloading music and videos for several years on a p2p. A couple of months ago I tried downloading a software application which came with a virus attached. I had to completely reformat my main drive to get rid of it. Don't believe I will be downloading again.
