this may be slightly off topic but does anybody know of any speech recognition software that runs on the Linux platform?

Not really interested in all the additional features, I'm really just after a usable voice to text system.

Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

thanks

Google gives some results, most of which is old information. IBM ViaVoice for Linux is no longer. I too will be very interested if anyone can put together a decent solution for speech recognition in the native Linux environment.
