I was diagnosed with transverse myelitis in 1995. I was able to recover my walking but have chronic pain and stumble and fall quite often. Does anyone have these same type of syptoms???

Dee's house - Transverse Myelitis can result in minimal or significant loss of function. It seems that you have enough residual loss that it is affecting your functional ability. You may want to consider an evaluation by a doctor with SCI expertise and ask for a referral to an OT. An OT can help you make the necessary adaptions to your existing functional ability so that you are safe when walking. It also sounds like you are experiencing some neuropathic pain.
