Any ideas for halloween costumes?

I'm pretty small and I'm in a chair.
My mom said that this is the last year I can go trick-or-treating, and I want to make it fun.

You have to be the pirate! You can also go around and take other people's candy. Because that's what pirates do. Now that would be a fun night! I was the same age as you when I was stealing little kids candy but then again I was able. Come on Amanda, you got to!

i remember seeing a guy dressed as a hippie and had a cardboard 60's vw van on his chair. does anyone have that pic? i'm hoping to recreate it for a contest friday.

The last year I went I dressed as a patient and my friend went as a nurse we looked quite authentic me in bloddy bandages and hospital gown, some thought we real others asked if we were going to switch places. Too bad I don't have a scanner I have a good pic.

I alway thought it might be different to dress as an engineer and build a train engine like an old steamer around my chair from cardboard, i can see the wreck now...it will work, little rods (made from sticks or even plastic) whatever, you get the picture, running from the back wheels to the front ones) going back and forth, chug chug chug, the little engine that could, chug, chug, chug. Oh i almost forgot that little round light on the front, chug, chug, chug, ding , ding , ding, a little bell on the front, with of course a string i can ding, ding, ding. Hm this is beginning to sound like fun. WOOOOOO, WOOOOOO...

We went trick or treating and Cisco wore a sheet over him in his power chair. People were freaking out how he was floating. One year he was was Superman and people said I get it, Chistopher Reeve. They didn't even know he was paralyzed. Another year we made a racecar with the powerchair and actually drove on the road. Halloween is fun, one day of the year you can forget about your SCI. Good luck with your costume, I think you would make an awesome nurse.
