I'm backing up all my documents(including My Music-- where my iTunes "consolidated" folder is) from my old IBM laptop T21 to my new T41 onto a external hard drive. I've never done this before but with the Wizards to guide me I seem to have gotten the external HD correctly connected & the backing up seems to be going OK(it's estimating 3 hours!). I'm using the older iTunes 6.0 & have it installed on both computers. The T41 only has a few CDs that I've downloaded. The T21 has over 100.
When I transfer my T21 iTunes to the T41 I don't need to have the T41 blank (empty) do I? or should I delete the T41 iTunes so there won't be any conflict when I import the 4gig iTunes from the T21.
Is this a sensible way to do it? I'd read about setting up a Network Sharing between the two but this seemed easier.

Also, when I log in there's box that says "Remember me?" well, I click it but I don't "get remembered". when I sign in for eBay the computer remembers my name & password. How do I get "remembered"?
