Is Eraser a good program for a complete removal of files from the unused disk section? If not, what is a good program for complete removal and deletion of files?

I've used DBaN (http://dban.sourceforge.net/) successfully on disks before getting rid of the computer.

I've had good results with eraser.7 overwrites should give you plenty of protection.Don't forget to clear out your index.dat files.
