Has anyone used oxytrol patches for thier bladder? I use oxybutin and the DR gave me 4 patches to try. I have to change them every 4 days. So far it has worked just as well as the other med. What is great is I donot suffer with dry mouth at all. Does anyone know anything about these patches?

I have using the patches since July. They have gratly helped my bladder problems. I have not had an accident for 4 months. I have never taken anything else for this problem, so I would not be able to compare them with anything else. They are kinda expensive.
Hi. I started them a month or so ago. I was taking 10 mg of oxybutinin 2x per day and am now using two patches, switching 2x week (mon/thurs). They don't work quite as well for me as the oral oxybutinin did (more spacticity at lower bladder capacity, meaning I have to pee more often and sometimes in a hurry), but the reduced side effects are so far worth it.

i just started them. so far i feel they quiet my bladder down well. my concern is the constipation that i usually get from oral ditropan. so far i think its slowed down my bowel, but i'm going to give it another few days before stopping it
