I need to open my four y/o HP computer case to get the numbers from the motherboard and network card. But I can't

I'm not generally mechanically challanged but this damned thing has got me locked out.

All of the ports are grouped in a rectangle at the center left of the back of the computer and this "island" has a rolled metal border defining it's four sides but there are no obvious screws retaining it nor can I find any clips. It doesn't pry out although I had managed to bend the roll in a few places :o before I thought I'd plug everything back in and seek help on the internet. After a brief but fruitless search for Google help I, naturally, came here.

Right now I'm using the PC with the sides off and my search for the card numbers in hiatusport.:hissyfit:

strange...every pc i have ever owned was a simple 4-8 screw to remove. look around the back edges for the screws.

Arn't HP Motherboards HP Brand? And many of theses are intergrated network cards?

Try goinng on a HP forum, and search for your model data. No doubt your not the only person wanting this info.

Not HP brand so not HP model. Made up in an HP shell by local shop. I should have be clearer on the setup.
